Remodeling in the Bay Area: what we see
Tight lots and steep sites
Bay Area lots are narrow and often sloped. Our Bay Area build needed excavation, shoring and a reinforced foundation before any framing went up. We are set up for that kind of site work.
Roof decks and outdoor space
Where the yard is small, the roof becomes the yard. We build roof decks with cable railings and sunken patios with cedar-clad retaining walls.
Permits city by city
Every Bay Area city runs its own building department and review process. We prepare the plan set and respond to plan check comments until the permit is issued.
