How we do home remodeling and additions

One contractor from plans to paint

On a bigger job, the risk is falling between trades: the framer blames the plumber, the plumber blames the plans. We draw the plan set ourselves, so the person who drew the wall is the person who answers for it.

For structural design, we work with a licensed engineer and include their drawings in the permit set.

From the ground up

Our photos below show one of our Bay Area builds at every stage: excavation, rebar, the slab pour, then the finished kitchen, baths and roof deck. That is the same order of work on any addition, at any size.

Home remodeling and additions questions

Can you build a room addition in Modesto?

Yes. Our Class B licence covers additions and new structures. We draw the plans, get them approved and build the addition, including the foundation, framing, roof and finishes.

Do you draw the plans yourselves?

Yes, we draw residential plan sets for permit. When a city requires structural calculations, a licensed engineer prepares them and we add them to the set.

Do you work outside Modesto?

Yes. We work across Stanislaus County and take larger projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
