Homeowners who want more than a cabinet refresh: a wall taken down, an island added, a range moved to a better spot, or a kitchen that finally fits how the family cooks.

What changes the price
We do not publish one price for every kitchen remodeling job, because no two rooms are the same. You get an exact, written price after the free estimate visit, before any work starts. New customers get 10% off that price.
| Factor | Details |
|---|---|
| How much of the layout changes | Keeping the sink and range where they are costs far less than moving them. |
| Cabinets | Stock boxes, semi-custom or built to measure. |
| Counter material and the number of cut-outs and seams | |
| What we find behind the walls once they are open (we show you before we fix anything) | |
How we do kitchen remodeling
What a kitchen remodel with us looks like
We start at your house with a free estimate. We measure, look under the sink and in the crawl space, and ask how you use the room. Then we draw the new kitchen to scale, so you see where every cabinet, appliance and outlet goes before anything is torn out.
Once you approve the plan and the written price, we pull the permit, order cabinets and counters, and set a start date. Demolition, rough plumbing and electrical come first, then inspection, drywall, cabinets, counters, tile, fixtures and paint.
When walls are opened
Older Valley homes often hide a slow leak under the sink, an ungrounded circuit or a soft subfloor. When we find one, we stop, take photos, and give you a written change order with the price before we touch it. Nothing gets added to your bill as a surprise at the end.
Cabinets and carpentry in-house
Victor is a carpenter first. That means fillers, scribes, open shelves and trim get fitted on site instead of patched with caulk. If a stock cabinet does not fit an odd wall, we build the piece that does.

Drawn first, then built to the drawing
Drag the handle. On the left is the plan view we work from, on the right the room as we finished it. Every cabinet, shelf and fixture lands where the drawing put it.

DrawnBuiltKitchen remodeling questions
Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel in Modesto?
Yes, when the work moves or adds plumbing, gas lines, electrical circuits or walls. Swapping counters or cabinet doors in place usually does not need one. We pull the permit with the City of Modesto when your job needs it and include it in the price.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on the scope and on cabinet lead times, which set most schedules. We give you a start date and a work schedule with the written estimate, and we tell you at once if a supplier delay changes it.
Can we keep using the kitchen during the remodel?
Not for most of it. We help you set up a temporary sink and counter elsewhere in the house, and we keep dust behind plastic sheeting so the rest of the home stays usable.
Do you give free estimates for kitchens?
Yes. The estimate is free and there is no commitment. New customers get 10% off the job.
